Volunteers
The Epicentre is a not-for-profit, charitable organisation and leaders in building communities and addressing social issues.
Our valued volunteers
The Epicentre has a fantastic team of volunteers who contribute to a wide range of services and programs. Our volunteers manage our community garden, the men’s shed, assist with administration and emergency relief programs, run our op-shop, youth servcie and OOSH programs, help with our playgroups and meal programs, and many community events.
The team all have their roles to play including reception, information and referral, assessments, data input, retail sales, administration, maintenance and repairs, gardening and planting, construction, kids and youth activities, supervision, monitoring, food preparation, sorting, distribution and deliveries, accounting, counselling and human resources.
Their skills are diverse and every volunteer has a unique persona that adds vitality, value and capacity to the organisation and its projects. Our volunteers are dedicated to their roles and maintain consistency in their work ethic and approach. Every Epicentre volunteer takes pride in their work and many have served the community for years; some as long as 15 years. We honour our volunteers and the invaluable contributions they make.
